Staff
Please note: I only provide staff for events that I am catering for.
For most buffet and canapé events I would recommend that you hire staff to make your event run smoothly and allow you to sit back and have plenty of time to entertain your guests.
A chef, (usually me) will be able to ensure the best presentation of your food, and heat or cook appropriate dishes.
Waiting staff will set up drinks stations, lay tables, serve drinks & food and clear away.
Depending on your type of event and the venue, I would usually expect staff to be hired from one hour before the guests are due and be needed for a minimum of four hours.
If you would like to hire staff the charges are as follows:
Chefs. £80 for up to 4 hours to serve up to 80 guests (40 guests for seated lunch or dinner, 12 guests for formal dinner parties -depending on menu)
Waiters/waitresses. £60 for up to 4 hours, £15.000/hour thereafter.
Junior waiting staff. £35 for up to 4 hours, £8.75/hour thereafter.
